This week I am off down to Portland again to continue looking around. I will be meeting a lady who was instrumental in unearthing sheep horns found in a dig from Romano-British times, also I have time with the chief Earth Scientist for the Jurassic Coast, which I am really looking forward to. As I have already mentioned, this island seems to play with your sense of time: different time frames existing one on top of another. Well, in the fog on my last visit I came across this, the back entrance to the prison, which is housed in an old Napolionic Fort. Not only is the building from another time, but I suspect that time would be moving at a different pace for those inside. This is something I must look into for the project.
