Focussing again on the stoneworts found in the Waterpark, and in particular on the oospores (the fertilised ‘seeds’) of these plants. These are the structures that can lie dormant for many years – the survival capsules (which, in this picture, have been fossilised). This must be an amazingly resilient form, with five spiralling elements making up the ovoid shape. I am looking to do something with this shape. How about turning it into a building?
